It's 2020...Which Means, Anything Goes!



Let's End this Year, and Begin Next Year with a BANG!


The end of one year, and the start of another can create a cascade of emotions. It means a fresh start of anything we want it to be, and that in turn can feel more like-don't mess this up-rather than the exciting opportunity it should be. But, I have found, if we approach things with a little hope of what's to come and a lot of gratitude for what's behind us, we can make the transition to another 365 days a smoother one. 


I have lots of traditions I like to practice on New Year's Day, and the days leading up to it to keep me in that place of gratitude. Having so many things to do keeps my mind focused on the fun and positive energy I want to create and less on the pressure of making the most of the coming year. So before December is over, my suggestion to you is to make a plan for what you want the rest of the year, and the beginning of the next year to look like. 


Make it enjoyable, upbeat and light! Before you know it, this year will be over and you'll slide right into next year feeling good about what's to come. 


Here are a couple of my favorite go-to traditions for New Year's Day! 


Begin with Vision: One of the main practices I have in the New Year is to create a vision board to project the energy I want to create for the next year and beyond! I typically host Vision Board events in the New Year, but I encourage you to make a special board of your own at home. Fill it with things you want to manifest in your life for this year, and years to come! 


Be Grateful: Each New Year's Day I write a letter to myself. I fill it with all the things I am grateful for, and all of the things i wish to accomplish in the New Year! 


Whatever you end up doing, I wish you all a year filled with health, happiness, peace and love. May 2021 be your best year yet!

Melissa has been interested, and involved, in real estate for a long time. She was born and raised in the bay area and spent a lot of time going to construction sites and looking at houses with her grandfather.  She graduated from San Francisco State University with a degree in Interior Design and finished her design education in London, England, at the Chelsea College of Art and Design.  After college, she worked for general contractor and developer, where she ran multi-million dollar construction projects and designed live/work spaces.  That construction knowledge allowed her to run the construction and design of a restaurant she opened.  She has extensive experience in customer service from her time in the fine dining and wine industry.  All of these experiences have given Melissa a unique set of skills that she can draw on as an agent.  Whether someone is buying their first home or second investment property, her passion is helping all clients unleash the power of real estate for their futures and families.
